Rental Terms and Conditions

 

By renting with Close Friends, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. You will pay a 15% service fee to Close Friends for order management, including delivery coordination, returns processing, dispute resolution, and item collection/cleaning.
  2. You authorise Close Friends to perform online ID verification.
  3. You authorise Close Friends to charge the payment card, up to the full market value of the item, in the event the item is damaged beyond repair or not returned.
  4. You authorise Close Friends to charge late fees if the item is not returned on time. A 2-day grace period is allowed before fees are applied.
  5. You must report any existing damage or marks upon delivery within 24 hours to avoid liability.
  6. You are responsible for maintaining the item’s condition and will be liable for repair or replacement costs for any damage or loss.
  7. Returns are governed by our Returns and Refund Policy. Requests outside the specified timeframes may be denied.
  8. You will ensure the item is securely packaged and available for collection on the rental’s final day; otherwise, late fees may apply.
  9. Delivery timelines are guidelines, and Close Friends is not liable for any consequences of late deliveries.
